Hey yall! Good News! 4 out of 7 of my plants are growing! YAY!!! So here's my data for today:

Other Observations:

The plants grown in Yellow, Blue and Red lights have curled stems whereas the stem of the plant grown in Orange light is straight.

Days 2-6

Hey peeps! So from Day 1-5 there was no signs of progress in the plants at all. As it had rained alot on those days the colour in them started to fade and they sheets started to tear, so I had to replace the cellophane sheets twice.

However on Day 6, one plant in the pots with blue and orange cellophane had sprouted. The one in the blue was 0.5cm while the one in the orange was 1cm. The remaining pots had plants showing no signs of life.

Day 1 + Method

Hello all! Okay...so today I have officially started my experiment. In the past 2 weeks I had been working on my method for my experiment and have got all my equipment ready.So here goes :)

Equipment:

• 7 pots (100ml depth)
• Cellophane sheets (12cm by 14cm): red,yellow,orange,green,blue,pink,clear
• Potting mix (25grams per plant)
• Water (20ml for each plant)
• Watering Can
• 1 large Pot Tray
• Measuring tape
• Gloves
• Camera
• Pen and Paper
• Snow Pea Seeds (21 seeds total per trial)
• Sticky Tape
• Sunlight

Method:

1. Collect all material
2. Place all 7 pots into the tray in an area where there is plenty of sunlight
3. Fill each of the pots with 25grams of potting mix
4. Plant 3 snow pea seeds in each pot
5. Water each plant with 20ml of water using the water can
6. Cover the top of each pot with a different coloured sheet of cellophane, taping down the edges.
7. Take photos of plants' progress every alternate day
8. Water plants daily
9. Record measurements and observations of all plants daily
10. Do steps 7 to 9 for 3 weeks
