Day 1

Hey guys! Since I got all my pots and stuff today, I decided to start my 'start all over again' trial today itself. So I've finished planting everything...it took DOUBLE the time, effort and expense.
Like last time, the next day I will post will be the day I see something sprout, ok? So cya in a few days! Gudnite blogger-bugz!

Method

............................................................................
Here's my updated method:

Equipment:
  • 14 pots (100ml depth)
  • 2 sets of each of the following Cellophane colour (12cm by 14cm): red, yellow, orange, green, blue, pink, clear
  • Potting mix (25grams per plant)
  • Water (20ml for each plant)
  • Watering Can
  • Measuring tape
  • Gloves
  • Camera
  • Pen and Paper
  • Snow Pea Seeds (21 seeds total per trial)
  • Blu-Tack
  • Sunlight
Method:
  1. Collect all material.
  2. Place 7 pots in an area where there is plenty of sunlight.
  3. Fill each pot with 25grams of potting mix.
  4. Plant 3 snow pea seeds in each pot.
  5. Water each plant with 20ml of water using the water can.
  6. Cover the top of each pot with a different coloured cellophane sheet, using Blu-tack to hold down the edges.
  7. Repeat steps 3-6 with remaining 7 pots.
  8. Place these 7pots away from the first lot of pots but in an area with the same amount of sunlight. This will be the 2nd trial.
  9. Take photos of all the plants' progress atleast 3 times a week.
  10. Water all plants daily.
  11. Record measurements (from soil level to the top of plant) and observations of all plants every 2nd day.
  12. Continue for 2 weeks atleast.
  13. Repeat Steps 1-12 atleast once more.

Day 16

...........................................................................................................
Hey guys. Today's the last day for the 1st Trial coz I bought all my equipment to start all over again (refer to yesterday's post for more info).  How ironic...the day I decide to start over, the plant in the pink light starts growing! Grrrr...Anyways, I'll post the photos for today later.
