Hello all! Okay...so today I have officially started my experiment. In the past 2 weeks I had been working on my method for my experiment and have got all my equipment ready.So here goes :)
Equipment:
- 7 pots (100ml depth)
- Cellophane sheets (12cm by 14cm): red,yellow,orange,green,blue,pink,clear
- Potting mix (25grams per plant)
- Water (20ml for each plant)
- Watering Can
- 1 large Pot Tray
- Measuring tape
- Gloves
- Camera
- Pen and Paper
- Snow Pea Seeds (21 seeds total per trial)
- Sticky Tape
- Sunlight
Method:
- Collect all material
- Place all 7 pots into the tray in an area where there is plenty of sunlight
- Fill each of the pots with 25grams of potting mix
- Plant 3 snow pea seeds in each pot
- Water each plant with 20ml of water using the water can
- Cover the top of each pot with a different coloured sheet of cellophane, taping down the edges.
- Take photos of plants' progress every alternate day
- Water plants daily
- Record measurements and observations of all plants daily
- Do steps 7 to 9 for 3 weeks
